Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! – Operation Barbarossa 1941 (Second Edition)

Tactical-level WWII Eastern Front combat where players command individual squads, tanks, guns and aircraft in small engagements from Operation Barbarossa 1941. Gameplay uses a fast, fluid system with simultaneous activation that keeps both players engaged and minimizes downtime. Units are represented by counters for infantry, vehicles and support weapons; players move, fire, and resolve facing, suppression and morale effects to recreate the tactical dilemmas of the campaign. The rules aim for quick learning and consistent mechanics across scenarios, with scenarios providing historical force mixes and objectives. The second edition updates artwork and expands unit options and firefight detail.
