Players race to empty their hands by playing cards and naming words that fit a category and start with a specified letter. On a turn, a player plays a hand card showing a letter and a category, then gives a valid word that matches both to discard the card. Some cards alter play by forcing penalties, changing letters, or switching categories; multiple category cards are used in a single game to vary the word prompts. Strategy and timing matter as players manage difficult letters, counterplay cards, and the order of their hand to be first to go out.
