Drop Drive

Players take the role of alien starship captains exploring a procedurally created galaxy. At setup, a variety of tokens and components are dropped onto the table to form a unique spatial map for each session. Over several turns players move their ships, mine asteroids for resources, upgrade their drive and equipment, land on worlds to trade cargo or pick up passengers, and collect alien specimens. Interaction includes market transactions and occasional conflict with pirate forces. The game emphasizes spatial planning, engine upgrades, and adaptable strategy within a lightweight sandbox framework for 2–4 players (5 with an add-on).
