Europe Engulfed: WWII European Theatre Block Game

A strategic-level block wargame covering the European theatre from September 1939 to late 1945. Players command armies represented by wooden blocks that hide unit type and strength, creating fog of war and uncertainty during maneuver and combat. Game turns represent two-month periods. Players allocate production to build ground units, fleets, U-boats, air assets, flak, V-weapons and special actions, with conquered resource areas providing reduced value compared to their original owners. Special Actions allow extra movement phases, additional combats, amphibious and airborne assaults, and opportunistic plays during an opponent’s combat phase. Includes a concise rulebook and playbook with examples, scenarios and designer notes; full campaigns and shorter scenarios run from a few hours up to a full day.
