GIPF

Players take turns placing a neutral piece on the board, aiming to create rows of four or more. When a player forms a qualifying row, they remove that row and may capture opponent pieces that extend it, changing the board state and opening new tactical possibilities. The objective is to cycle pieces through play and capture opponent material until the opponent has no pieces left to introduce. The game supports modular expansion through additional pieces that can alter interactions between plays in linked games.

Le premier de la série, on préfère pourtant le trio Dvonn, Yinsh et Zertz. Le dernier arrivé, Lyngkt est très sympa aussi (malgré ses couleurs moches).

Hate to rate this so low, but it just felt futzy to me. Game was drawn out...way too long. Felt too much like chess but I would play chess if I wanted that style of game. Chess is superior.
