Heretik Chess

A chess variant that adds cards for enhancing pieces and disrupting an opponent’s plans while retaining the strategic structure of standard chess. The game begins with a regular chess setup, and each player draws a card after making a move. Cards can be played, declared, or discarded to alter movement, move multiple pieces, or push opposing pieces off the board. It requires a regular chess set, two copies of each of the 60 available cards, and may use additional pieces, pawns, tokens, or small rocks as markers.
