Memoir '44: The Battles of Khalkhin-Gol

This expansion presents the Battles of Khalkhin-Gol, fought along the Halha River on the Soviet-Japanese border at the beginning of World War II. Soviet forces, including Mongolian cavalry, face the Japanese Sixth Army in a campaign that escalates from skirmishes to open war. Six standard scenarios can be played separately or as a linked campaign, with each result affecting the next battle. Two Breakthrough scenarios and two Overlord scenarios add further engagements, including one set during the later battle for Cape Torokina. The expansion also includes Soviet BA-10 armored cars and Japanese Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes, with pre-printed maps showing terrain, obstacles, and unit positions.
