Path of Light and Shadow

Players command rival exiles from competing houses as they rebuild an empire and contest control of a shared map. Gameplay blends area control with deck management: players recruit and promote followers, acquire technologies and leaders, and deploy forces to seize regions and besiege opponents. Faction decks and customizable civilizations shape available actions and strategies, while choices along a moral path (cruel or merciful) alter benefits and consequences. Rounds center on resource management, tactical placement on the board, and evolving card options as decks grow and transform toward endgame scoring and dominance.
