Plunder: A Pirate's Life

Players command fleets of pirate ships across a modular ocean map, competing to earn ten Plunder Points by conquering islands, sinking enemy vessels, and burying treasure. On each turn, players draw Resource cards based on islands owned, then trade and spend wood, iron, rum, and gold to build and upgrade ships with masts and cannons. Ships move by roll-and-move and resolve naval combat with dice to capture islands and attack opponents. The game includes miniatures and peg-based upgrades and supports both free-for-all and team play.
