Players act as colonial governors on an island, developing plantations, staffing them with workers, and producing crops to sell or ship for points. Each player manages a personal city board for plantations, buildings, and resources while shared components include ships, a trading house, and a supply of doubloons. Play proceeds in rounds where the governor selects a role card (Trader, Builder, Captain, etc.); every player takes that role’s action but the chooser gains a small privilege. Doubloons buy buildings, buildings and workers enable more production, and goods are shipped or traded to score victory points. The governor token passes clockwise and the game ends when supply conditions are met.
