Summit: The Board Game

Players attempt to survive a deadly mountain expedition, using a modular two-sided board that supports competitive, cooperative, or solo play. On the competitive side, players race up and down the mountain, manage resources like food and oxygen, build routes with tiles, resolve obstacles with cards, and use a karma mechanic to help or hinder opponents which also affects scoring. In cooperative or solo modes, players share objectives, track Sherpa assistance and time of day, and may sacrifice characters to ensure at least one climber completes the ascent and descent. The game uses many unique cards and tiles, dual-layer player mats for resource tracking, and adjustable difficulty and length.
