Players escort Arwen along a dangerous stretch of Middle-earth and must protect her from ambushes and roaming enemies. The cooperative card-driven game tasks players with managing a hero crew, playing allies, events and attachments, and resolving encounters from a scenario deck. New cards and a scenario introduce enemy ambushes and environmental challenges that force players to balance defense, threat management, and questing as they advance toward Rivendell. A core set and a prior expansion are required to use this chapter with the rest of the campaign.
