The Magnates: A Game of Power

Lead a magnate family through the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, from the Union of Lublin to the state's collapse. Players manage decks of family characters, using their strengths and mitigating their weaknesses to gain estates, offices, prestige, and influence in the Sejm and Senate. Competition shapes internal policy, military campaigns, and responses to foreign threats. If the families pursue personal power at the expense of cooperation, the Commonwealth may fall under pressure from neighboring powers.
