1914: Twilight in the East

A detailed simulation of the 1914 campaigns in Poland and Galicia, covering Russian invasions and the battles through the Battle of Łódź. Players command division-level formations with independent brigades across a hex map at 5 miles per hex and resolve large-scale maneuvers over multi-day time scales. Combat accounts for force magnitude, artillery types and amounts, flanking, fieldworks and other modifiers, while movement uses a fluid Movement/Counter‑Movement/Forced March system. Formations must track Combat Effectiveness Levels and periodically rest. Scenarios range from individual battles to a Grand Campaign, and both sides can be simultaneously offensive and defensive in different sectors.
