6th Sense

2021 · Card Game

6th Sense

Players predict how many tricks they will win, then play a trick-taking round to try to meet that prediction. Each round deals a hand and reveals a trump suit; players secretly choose a prediction card from their hand before tricks begin. Standard follow-suit and trick-winning rules apply, but several numbered cards introduce special effects (zero can remove cards, fours invert the highest/lowest rule, a dual 6/9 can be declared as either value, eights let the starter peek at the winner’s prediction, and twelves allow splitting a trick into two). Scoring awards points equal to a correct prediction and penalizes the difference when predictions miss; the game runs a set number of rounds and highest total wins.
