American Mah Jongg
A rummy-like tile game for four players, based on the Chinese game of mahjong. Players draw and exchange tiles to collect pairs, three-of-a-kinds, and other sets, aiming to complete one of the hands listed on an annual scoring card. The game includes American conventions such as Jokers and the Charleston, a series of tile exchanges at the start of play. Scoring cards define the available hands and may include rule changes from year to year.
