Austerlitz 1805: Rising Eagles

A regiment-level simulation of the 1805 campaign, with 250 m hexes and one-hour turns. Units represent regiments and maneuver at the operational scale across a detailed topographic map. Players issue timed orders to formations, planning movements and attacks in advance; changing or recalling orders is limited, so initial planning and sequencing strongly affect outcomes. Fog of war mechanisms introduce uncertainty about enemy dispositions and visibility. The game offers a full-battle scenario plus several shorter scenarios that explore alternative plans and command friction, emphasizing strategic planning and maneuver over attritional combat.
