Back to the Future: Dice Through Time

Players cooperate as time travelers chasing a stolen DeLorean across the three-film timeline, resolving disrupted events and returning scattered items to their correct years and locations. Each round, players roll dice to take actions such as time travel, moving meddling Tannen family members, completing movie events, and using shared Einstein tokens or rippled dice left on the board. Completing events lets players draw item cards that must be delivered to specific years, which reduces the OUTATIME tracker and grants resources. After all turns, the OUTATIME tracker advances based on the most-neglected year and unsolved events accrue Paradox tokens that accelerate later pressure. The group wins by returning all items before OUTATIME reaches Game Over.

I’m not going to deny that this review is super influenced by the price I paid for the game. It was 5 euros, to be exact, and that affects my rating. I’ve enjoyed it a lot more :D. That said, it’s an original game, really tense in the final turns, and with several difficulty levels. It captures the theme well and it’s exactly what you want from a game: play through the movies and remember them. If you see it, and especially if you see it cheap, don’t pass it up!
