Wild Space

Players command a spaceship exploring a newly discovered galaxy, visiting planets to recruit Specialists, Robots and Empire Emissaries and collect treasures and missions for Credits. The game is a tactical card-combo engine: on each turn choose between adding a card to your Crew or drawing cards, then play cards whose conditions are met to trigger abilities. Building the right cards into the Crew both generates immediate effects and sets up future combos, with planning and timing determining how many cards can be put into play at once. Victory is based on Credits earned from missions and the composition of the Crew; plays are short and rules are accessible.
