Battle for Stalingrad

A battalion- to regiment-level simulation of the 1942 fight for the city on the Volga, pitting German Sixth Army and Fourth Panzer Army elements against Soviet 62nd Army formations over a multi-week campaign. Play models German initiative, air support and artillery superiority versus Soviet command friction and urban defensive tactics. Players maneuver company- and regimental-scale units on a hex map (656 yards/600 m hexes), resolve combat and combined-arms effects, manage reinforcements and supply, and contest control of built-up city sectors over weekly turns. Scenarios and campaign play support two or more players and high solo playability; playtime typically runs from several to many hours.
