Showdown

Showdown

Players bid on how many cards showing a particular number are held by the entire group. Each new bid must raise the quantity or value, or challenge the previous bid. When a bid is challenged, all hands are revealed; if the bid is too high, the bidder loses a card, otherwise the challenger loses one. Special bids can double the penalty, redouble it, or claim that the previous bid is exactly correct. Players use the bids to judge other hands while deciding when to bluff or challenge. Includes 110 cards and instructions in a metal tin.
