Q.E.

Players act as central banks bailing out sixteen large companies from four countries after a financial crisis. Each round features an auction: the lead player opens with a public bid, then other players submit secret bids representing how much money they print to acquire firms of varying sizes and victory-point values. After all companies are rescued, players score bonus points for nationalization, monopolies and diversification sets. Finally, players reveal the total money they printed; the player who printed the most loses all victory points, so bidders balance point gains against inflationary cost.
