Hollywood 1947

Players take roles in a 1947 movie studio and secretly belong to one of three loyalties: Patriot, Communist, or Rising Star. Each round every player fills a rotating Job (Director, Screenwriter, Editor, Actor, Gaffer, etc.), which shapes the round's movie, alters hands and information, and grants special actions; players may instead forego a Job to re-roll dice. Players add cards to the current film based on dice results, some cards are discarded, and revealed symbols determine which team wins the round; the first team to reach four wins the game while the Rising Star aims to extend play and force a final tie. The game emphasizes social deduction, hidden loyalties, open discussion about plays, and strategic lying for non-Patriot roles.
