2024 · Card Game
HIT! Extreme
Players take turns placing bets and playing cards to steal chips from opponents while trying to build the most valuable pile. The game uses hand management and bluffing as players commit to wagers and resolve confrontations with special cards that alter outcomes. This edition adds new special cards and variants to the base rules while otherwise preserving the original gameplay, so experienced players can plug the changes into familiar play.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
When do I pick up the face-up cards I've been building?
At the start of your turn you take any face-up cards in front of you and stack them face-down as your loot (this is not done on the very first turn). (page 1)
Can I steal matching cards from other players whenever I draw?
Yes — each time you reveal a card you may, if you wish, steal all cards of that same value from the other players and add them to your face-up tableau. (page 1)
Do stolen cards count toward the '3 or more' limit that makes me lose my turn?
Yes — stolen cards are added to your face-up cards and count toward the total; the losing rule applies based on how many face-up cards you have. (pages 1–2)
What exactly causes me to lose my turn, and are there exceptions?
If you reveal a card whose value already appears among your face-up cards and you currently have three or more face-up cards, you immediately lose your turn and discard all those face-up cards (they are removed permanently). The exception is when you only have one or two face-up cards: you may add the duplicate and continue. (page 2)
When does the game end and how do we score?
The game ends as soon as the last card of the draw pile is revealed; players then add any remaining face-up cards to their loot, sum the values of their loot cards, and the highest total wins. (page 2)
