Poison

2005 · Card Game

Poison

Players play numbered cards to three color-coded piles, aiming to avoid forcing a pile’s total above 13. Cards come in three suits numbered 1–7 and a fourth joker suit (value 4) that can be played on any pile. On a turn, a player plays one card to the matching pile and announces the pile’s new sum; if that sum exceeds 13 the player takes the existing pile into their score area and leaves their card as the new pile start. After all cards are played, players compare how many cards they collected in each suit: the majority in a suit discards those cards, while other players score penalty points (jokers count double). Rounds rotate starter and lowest penalty total wins.
