Dutch Blitz

1960 · Card Game

Dutch Blitz

Fast-paced simultaneous card play where each player manages their own 40-card deck, trying to be the first to empty a face-down blitz pile. Players build shared ascending color piles in the center by playing 1–10 sequences, while arranging personal post piles in alternating-gender, descending runs to free cards. When no plays are available, players cycle through their stock in groups of three to reveal new top cards. A round ends when a blitz pile is emptied; scoring awards points for cards added to the center and penalizes remaining blitz cards. Rounds repeat until a player reaches the target score and the highest total wins.

Crack those knuckles, and stretch your shoulders. Trust me. Hand-eye coordination and reaction time are a must to compete in this game. Establish house rules ahead of time so there's fewer debates on "who got there first". Don't lean over your cards, you heathen.

Great family fun! Trash is talked, cards are slapped down, and blocking is real. I'm pretty sure everybody in my family is going to buy a copy of this.
