Cheating Moth
Race to empty your hand by playing cards one higher or lower than the discard pile or by secretly getting rid of cards through cheating. Players begin with eight cards and take turns playing numbered cards (1–5, wrapping between 1 and 5); if unable to play, a player draws one card and ends their turn. Some cards have special effects when played: force draws, fast-play races, slap reactions that penalize the slowest, and forced transfers. Cheating cards cannot be legally played and must be removed by covert actions, while one player holds a guard token and is the only one allowed to accuse others of cheating. Successful and unsuccessful accusations carry card-drawing penalties and transfer of the guard. Rounds end when a player goes out; scoring penalizes remaining cheating cards most heavily, and the lowest total after a set number of rounds wins.
