El Diablo

2013 · Card Game

El Diablo

Players bid on the number of tricks they expect to win, then play numbered cards from 1 to 15 in a trick-taking game. Higher numbers are generally stronger, while special cards introduce additional effects: El Diablo can count as 0 or 16, the Chameleon can copy a played card’s value or be played freely, and the Wizard can change the value of another player’s card. Players aim to fulfill their bids while adapting to these changing card values.
