Endless Winter: Paleoamericans
Players lead prehistoric tribes in North America across several generations, migrating from nomadic hunter-gatherers toward settled tribal societies. The game mixes worker placement with card-driven actions: tribes send members to action spaces and pay by playing or saving multi-use cards and spending resources. Cards serve multiple roles—providing labor, triggering culture effects, or being held for an end-of-round Eclipse reveal that sets turn order and grants bonuses. Play also involves area influence, tile placement, set collection, hunting megafauna, and constructing megalithic monuments. After a fixed number of rounds, players total points from settlements, culture, constructions, and other achievements to determine the winner.

Garfield2.0 A lot of little games. Area control, set collection, deck building. But unfortunately a little bit a multiplayer solitaire. But at least with a strong theme. And last round every did the same -> hunting animals. And it was already clear who will win after round 2. Not a good sign. The points for burried cards are too strong. Great game, great looks, but that table hogging is a bit much for some tables, I suppose (luckily not ours).

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
How do I calculate Labor during the Eclipse — what counts?
Reveal your Ritual pile and add: 2 Labor per figure on your Eclipse space, Labor icons on revealed Tribe cards (including any Eclipse-phase abilities), and ½ Labor per revealed Culture card; use that total to determine new turn order. (Rulebook p. 11)
Can I spend Food to gain Added Labor during the Eclipse phase?
No — you cannot spend Food for Added Labor during the Eclipse phase. (Rulebook p. 11)
How does spending Food for Added Labor work on my turn?
During the Action phase you may move your Food marker left any number of spaces; for each Labor icon your marker passes on the Food track you gain 1 Added Labor (example shown on p.10). (Rulebook p. 10)
What happens to the cards I put on my Ritual pile after the Eclipse?
In the new turn order, perform each Tribe card’s Eclipse action from your Ritual pile and discard it, while any Culture cards in the Ritual pile are simply moved to your discard pile; after all players finish, all Ritual-pile cards go to discard. (Rulebook p. 12)
Can multiple players take the bottom action of the same Action Column in a round?
No — the Bottom section’s action can only be used once per round by the first player who reaches it (that player places their figure on the action icon to lock it); other players can still use the column but not that bottom action. (Rulebook p. 9)
How do Animal cards score — do tipped animals or Argentavis wildcards count?
Only upright Animal cards score as sets by their color; Tipped Animal cards do not count for set scoring (though some Sacred Stone tiles may score Tipped Animals), and Argentavis cards are wildcards that may be added to sets but cannot form a set by themselves. (Rulebook pp. 16, 19, 24)
