A grand historical strategy game covering 300 years of European and world history, from 1492 to 1792. Players guide nations through diplomacy, territorial expansion, trade, military technology, economic development, colonization, and war. The game includes a full campaign for up to six players, shorter campaign options, mini-campaigns, 20 battle scenarios, and solitaire scenarios. Armies, fleets, leaders, colonies, trading posts, and other forces are represented by counters across maps of Europe and the rest of the world.
