2013 · Card Game
Five Cucumbers
Players play a compact trick-taking game in which the objective is to avoid winning the final trick. Each turn a player either beats the current card by playing an equal or higher card to take the trick, or discards their lowest card when unable or unwilling to overtake. The round ends after a fixed number of tricks; the player who captures the last trick receives a penalty token (a cucumber). Players collect penalties across rounds and are eliminated once they accumulate more than five cucumbers, narrowing the field until two players remain to decide the winner.

Numeric Party Card Game edited by Friedemann Friese. The cucumbers topic is funny, but the game is pretty standard.
