2013 · Card Game
Flash 10
Players race simultaneously to build ten face-down piles into a left-to-right ascending sequence using cards drawn from a central draw pool. A shuffled deck contains numbered cards and special thunderstorm cards; players flip their initial ten cards and then, without rearranging positions, draw and place cards onto any pile to improve the numerical order. If a thunderstorm is drawn it may be played on any stack, and certain cards bearing lightning icons score extra points while thunderstorm cards count as penalties. A round ends when a player declares a correct ascending run across all ten positions; that player and the others then score based on consecutive ascending cards from the left, lightning icons, and thunderstorm penalties. Rounds repeat until a player reaches the target score. Two optional variants change whether storms can remain in a winning row or reduce the row to nine cards with a rising-then-falling layout.
