Girl Genius: The Works

A non-collectible card game set in the world of Girl Genius, featuring standalone decks based on locations and factions from the series. Each player has a hand of cards while twelve cards form a face-down patchwork display. On a turn, a player reveals a card and rotates a face-up card 180 degrees. Matching colored symbols along the card edges cause surrounding cards to “pop.” The popped cards resolve their instructions, which may help or hinder, then usually go into the player’s score pile. Cards from hand replace removed cards. Any deck can be played on its own, or multiple decks can be combined for longer games and additional players.
