Hispania

This historical strategy game covers the Iberian Peninsula from the arrival of Carthage in 320 BC through the early Reconquista in 1220 AD. Players lead Roman, Germanic, Byzantine, Muslim, and Christian peoples across successive historical periods. In the advanced rules, players bid for control of up to 30 different tribes and nations, each with its own objectives based on historical conditions. Armies use special units such as knights, castles, and elites, while some powers transform over time and others can launch naval invasions. Multiple scenarios cover different starting points and end dates.
