Antike
Players lead rival ancient civilizations as they found cities, construct temples, research technologies, and field legions and galleys to explore and settle the map. Turns focus on economic development, military movement, and diplomatic interaction as nations recruit famous personalities—kings, scholars, generals, citizens, and navigators—to gain victory points. Two board scenarios offer different geographic challenges, and victory is achieved by reaching a set number of ancient personalities. Gameplay emphasizes planning and negotiation over randomness.

Mitchell C4.6 Not a huge fan of this game. The rondel mechanic is interesting, but it the battling was a bit bland.
