Island Fortress
Players take the roles of master builders constructing a fortress on Alcott Island with the help of workers, a taskmaster, and the governor. Each player uses an identical set of five role cards to plan actions such as hiring workers, building sections of the wall, and collecting money from the treasury. Points are awarded for having the most blocks in each row of the fortress wall. Players can also earn bonuses by completing the governor’s favors, which require building the wall in specific patterns.
