2021 · Card Game
Kokopelli
Players manage a personal board with four ceremony slots and a shared neighborhood of eight active ceremonies that includes adjacent players’ slots. On a turn, a player may draw, start a ceremony (if that type is not already active in their play area), or play a card into any ceremony in their play area to advance it. Each player uses a 36-card deck built from multiple copies of ceremony cards, and starting a ceremony grants a persistent special ability until it completes. A ceremony completes when four cards have been played to it; the completing player takes a victory point tile and may trigger a game-end token. The game ends when all end tokens are placed, and the highest VP total wins.
