L'Autoroute
A vintage French road-safety game in which players drive to a wedding, collecting family members and a present along the way. Before setting out, each driver must obtain a license by following the road code, including speed limits and one-way directions. The route includes hazards such as accidents and flat tires, along with encounters at a garage, a roadside repair service, and a gangster. The original edition includes six small lead cars, one for each player, and the game received a silver medal at the 1949 Concours Lépine in Paris.
