Lone Wolves

Players lead rival wolf packs across five territories, dispatching individual wolves each round to contest control. Each round both players play a single wolf card (values represent strength) into a chosen territory; the higher strength wins the trick and stays face-up while the losing wolf flips to its lone-wolf side with strength 1 and its owner receives a scar token. Play proceeds over thirteen tricks from a 30-card deck with five suits; cards assigned to territories score area-majority points at game end. Scar tokens modify future play and can change which suit is trump as territories yield all their scars, creating a shifting-trump dynamic that rewards timing and territory planning.

Senzillament fantàstic. Un joc exclusiu a 2 que es basa en mecàniques que a 2 no funcionen però, en aquest cas brillen. Majories i bases. Balancejar el guanyar i perdre bases serà la clau per guanyar la partida. S'explica en menys de 5 minuts i té un què addictiu que, conforme vas jugant i el domines, veus que hi ha moltes més capes i profunditat de la que aparenta en un inici. Sense cap mena de dubte un dels millors jocs del passat Spiel 2024 i que ha arribat per quedar-se.
