Long Short
Players speculate on six commodities whose prices rise and fall during the game. Each player begins with $10,000 and ten commodity cards that influence one or more market prices. On a turn, players may open or close long and short contracts, play a price movement card, or roll the dice to trigger a price change or random event. Contracts can also be closed during another player’s turn, allowing profits to be locked in at the right moment. After all ten cards have been played, the player with the most money wins. No new contracts may be opened during the final round.
