2007 · Economic

Container

Players manage both production and shipping in an economic simulation of container trade. Each turn players produce goods, set prices for their home output, and choose which other players’ goods to load onto outgoing ships. Arriving shipments are auctioned to the islands; players bid to acquire crates that later convert to victory points. Cash flow, price-setting and strategic subsidies influence who profits from production and who gains from purchases, and players must balance selling at home, shipping for income, and buying the right goods for points.

Always different with different people, true sandbox and economic system simulation. Excellent !

This game lets the players control the entire market - which makes for a really interesting game. Quiet thinky and you could spend a lot of time thinking instead of playing. But overall this was a really interesting and fun pick up and deliver game.

This is a very interesting game, I have not yet played anything like it. And it is fun as well. The game is very popular in my group at the time of writing. We'll see how that evolves.
