2023 · Card Game
Micro Rome
Players develop a tiny Roman city by placing cards into a personal tableau to form sets and score points. Cards represent buildings, citizens and events that interact to increase or decrease the player’s total as the city grows. A communal Colosseum track advances during play and the game ends when it is completed; players aim to reach a target score before that point. Barbarians and other negative effects can subtract points, so card placement and set construction require balancing risks and rewards.
