Mythical Dice
Players draft dice and secretly prepare a pool of creature and numbered dice, then simultaneously bid how many tricks they expect to win that hand. Each trick, the lead player selects and rolls a die from their pool; other players follow by rolling matching-number color dice if required or any die of their choice, with special creature dice (minotaur, griffin, mermaid) always allowed. The highest roll or the creature hierarchy (minotaur > griffin > mermaid > minotaur) wins the trick, and the winner collects dice and leads the next trick. After all tricks, players score for exactly meeting their bid or lose points for missing it; additional bonuses apply for capturing specific creature interactions if no flag was captured. The game runs multiple hands and the highest total score wins.

Garfield2.0 #22 Totally unpredictable and therefore way less fun than the card game. Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If the first die rolled is a number, do I have to play the same colour or can I play a special die instead?
If the first die is a number, you must follow with that colour if you can, but you may always choose to play a Special die instead; the colour in play remains the first die's colour until the end of the turn (Rulebook p.4).
Two of us rolled the same highest number — who wins the trick?
Ties on numbers (or identical symbol faces) are won by the player who rolled the tied result last (i.e., the most recent of the tied rolls) (Rulebook pp.2, 4).
Do symbol faces beat numbers, and how do Minotaur/Griffin/Mermaid interact?
All symbol faces beat any number; the special-symbol cycle is Minotaur beats Griffin, Griffin beats Mermaid, and Mermaid beats Minotaur — additionally, if all three symbols appear in one turn the Mermaid wins the trick (Rulebook pp.5–6).
Can a White Flag side ever win a trick?
No — White Flag is the weakest side and is worth zero; only if every die rolled shows a White Flag does the player who started the turn win the trick (Rulebook pp.3–4).
When do I earn the Minotaur or Mermaid bonus points?
You earn bonuses only if your round bet is correct and the defeated special die was not on its White Flag: Minotaur grants +30 points per Griffin defeated, and Mermaid grants +50 points for defeating the Minotaur (Rulebook pp.5, 6–7).
