2019 · Card Game
L.L.A.M.A.
Players try to get rid of their hand by playing cards that match or are one higher than the top of the discard pile, with special rules for the highest rank and a wild card. On a turn a player may play, draw, or quit; quitting places the remaining hand face down and removes that player from further play in the round, while the last active player may continue but cannot draw. Rounds end when a player empties their hand or when all players have quit, and players receive penalty tokens based on cards left in hand: numbered cards score white tokens equal to their value, while one or more wild cards score a single black token. Emptying a hand allows returning a previously collected token. Play repeats until a player reaches the target score, and the lowest total wins.
