NHL Ice Breaker: The Card Hockey Board Game
Licensed by the National Hockey League, this card-driven hockey game features the league’s 30 teams and national teams. Players compete for puck possession by simultaneously playing individual cards, pairs, two pair, or three-of-a-kind; the highest hand determines the action. Successful plays move the puck toward the opponent’s net on the game board, with Ice Breaker spaces triggering penalties, hits, turnovers, and passes. In the Shooting Zone, a final card contest pits the shooter against the goalie. The game supports one to four players ages 8 and up.
