Players play cards into a personal tableau to recruit musicians and complete objective requirements before the other players. Rows of four matching-suit musician cards (Wood, Brass, Percussion, or Joker) score points only when the full quartet is collected; incomplete rows do not count and block starting a new row. Action cards allow players to modify their own tableau and interfere with opponents by stealing or discarding musicians. Objective cards set the specific point targets from each suit that a player must meet to win the game.
