Trio
Players sort a small deck of numbered cards in hand and keep the rest face down on the table. On a turn, reveal one card — either the lowest or highest card from a player’s hand (including your own) or any face-down table card — then reveal a second card. If the two revealed cards match, continue; if not, return them and end the turn. Collect three revealed cards of the same number as a set in front of you. The normal win condition is the first player with three sets; alternative win conditions include completing the special set of 7s or certain paired sets that sum or differ to 7. Optional variants use all cards for every player, a shorter “spicy” victory condition, or team play for larger groups.

Can I look through or rearrange my cards during the game?
You sort your hand into numerical order (lowest to highest) at setup, but during play when you reveal from your own hand you may only reveal your lowest or highest card — you may not choose arbitrary cards. (pages 2, 4)
When I ask someone to show a card, can I ask for any card or only a specific one?
You may only ask a player to reveal their lowest or their highest card (you may also reveal your own lowest or highest). (page 3)
If the revealed cards don’t match, do those cards stay face up or get returned?
If a revealed card doesn’t match the previous one, all revealed cards are put back where they came from (either face down in the middle or returned to their owners) and your turn ends. (page 4)
If I run out of cards in my hand, can I still take turns?
Yes — if you have no cards left in hand you may still play by revealing cards from the middle or asking opponents for their lowest/highest cards. (page 4)
How do you win, and what is special about a trio of 7s?
A player immediately wins by collecting three trios in SIMPLE mode or two connected trios in SPICY mode, and a trio of 7s (the 7 trio) always beats everything else. (page 5)
In the team variant, what communication is allowed and how do partner swaps work?
After dealing all cards, partners may secretly swap one card with each other and swapping is the only allowed form of communication; whenever a team wins a trio the opposing teams may make a new swap, and teammates share collected trios. (pages 6–7)
