2012 · Card Game
Noah
Players attempt to load animals onto five ferries arranged in a circle while keeping the total weight on each ferry at or below 21 and maintaining either alternating genders or a single-gender lineup. Each turn a player plays one animal from an eight-card hand onto the ferry where Noah stands, then moves Noah to a different ferry: females move him to an adjacent ferry, males move him two spaces. If a player cannot play, they pick up all animals from Noah’s ferry into their hand before playing. Matching the species last played on a ferry grants an immediate extra turn; bringing a ferry’s weight to exactly 21 launches it, creates a new ferry, and forces the player to hand out 1–4 cards to opponents. Special animal cards alter play (for example, peeking at hands or lowering a ferry’s weight limit). Rounds end when a player empties their hand or four ferries have launched. Remaining cards score penalty points; play repeats for three rounds, and the lowest total score wins.
