Oh My Brain
Players face waves of ravenous zombie animals in a fast-playing card game where the objective is to rid oneself of cards and avoid losing brain tokens. Each round, players build a hand and a small “cemetery” of cards, then take turns playing to a central ascending pile by playing a card higher than the current top (zeros always reset the pile). Multiple copies of the same number can be played; additional copies are sent to opponents’ cemeteries. Special-number cards trigger die rolls or extra actions (extra turns, forced lower plays, brain thefts, swaps, etc.). If a player cannot legally play they lose a brain token, clear the pile, draw cards and continue. When a player empties their hand, opponents lose brain tokens equal to their remaining cards; players with no brains are eliminated and the round structure repeats until one player holds the most brain tokens.

#Animazombis es un juego entretenido que cuenta con el punto fuerte de su duración. Es un juego de solo 15 minutos que tal y como indica la original caja sirve para un #CoffeeBreak, de manera que resulta totalmente válido para nuestras actividades de #RecreosActivos y para el aula. La temática es original y muy divertida pero me ha faltado hilar un poco más las mecánicas con el juego (especialmente la zona del cementerio). Lo que más me gusta es la rejugabilidad que tiene ya que tenemos tanto cartas especiales que ofrecen dos acciones adicionales con multitud de efectos que mejoran la partida y hacen que el juego tenga más estrategia. De hecho, podría considerar esta variante como una expansión al propio juego y eso siempre es bien. Espero que le deis una oportunidad ya que su precio no puede ser más competitivo. ¿Serás el campista con más cerebro al final de la partida?
