2010 · Card Game
Potion-Making (Gift Edition)
This gift edition includes three card games: Practice, University Course and Guild of Alchemists, along with the bonus Alchemikote creature card and alternative Philosopher’s Stone sequences. In the main game, apprentice mages collect elements from a shared display to complete formulas for elixirs, powders, talismans and magical creatures. Players draw cards, add elements to the display, and score points by completing formulas. Completed formulas can be combined into more difficult creations, sometimes using formulas belonging to other players. Spell cards alter the available elements, dismantle creations or transform one formula into another. The player with the most points when the cards run out wins.
